The instrument cluster on the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace is fully digital unit, dubbed ‘Active Info Display’ which is much like the Skoda’s ‘Virtual Cockpit’ and the car gets flat-bottom steering with controls mounted on it. On the interiors, the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace features a panoramic sunroof, large centrally mounted touchscreen infotainment system and below that are the rotary controls to the 3-zone automatic climate control system. Coming to the side the Tiguan AllSpace features rounded wheels arches, body-coloured door cladding, body-coloured ORVMs, silver roof rails, chrome window sills, blacked-out B-pillar and 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels shod in 255/40 tyres. The front bumper features integrated fog lamps, front parking sensors, headlight washers, a large air dam, piano black accents and inserts on the bumper. Volkswagen showcased the R-Line variant of the Tiguan AllSpace which is the sportier variant in the trim line-up and on the exterior the Tiguan AllSpace features a two slated grille in chrome with a large VW logo in the centre, projector LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and turn indicators. The bookings for the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace are now open and it is expected to be launched with a price tag of around INR 35 – 40 Lakh ex-showroom. The Tiguan AllSpace is essentially a stretched out 7-seater version of the standard Volkswagen Tiguan which can seat 5 people. Volkswagen has revealed the Tiguan AllSpace to the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2020.
